Leur plus gros succès Le 7e jour repose sur un échantillonnage usé de Bobbi Humphrey et sa chanson Black and Blues. Entre 1992 et 1997, ce même échantillonnage a été pris par Eric B. & Rakim, Justin Warfield,Mobb Deep, Da Phlayva, Fat Joe, Digable Planets, Easy Business et Naked Artz. L’accent français que se donnait La Constellation pour avoir du succès à l’international n’a pas porté fruit. On October 27, 1998, the duo La Constellation released their only album titled Duality. Their biggest hit Le 7e Jour is based on a worn-out sample of Bobbi Humphrey and her song Black and Blues. Between 1992 and 1997, this same sample was taken by Eric B. & Rakim, Justin Warfield, Mobb Deep, Da Phlayva, Fat Joe, Digable Planets, Easy Business and Naked Artz. La Constellation's fake French accent on the purpose of being successful internationally has not paid off.
